An Australian Radio School alumni himself, Mena is proof that any hopeful can forge a rewarding radio career with passion and a willingness to take chances.

Coming in from a totally different profession, Mena’s rise through the radio ranks began humbly in regional Victoria, NSW and SA.

He had his own breakfast show, was a daytime announcer, copywriter and creative director — all before landing his first metro gig.

Since then, Mena’s passion for creative thinking has seen him win awards and advance to the top of his field.
